I've been working and crafting so much lately, I can't wait for Christmas! 

So, here's something I made for my little brother and sister in law. 

They always struggle to find things with their names on, so I made some sweetie jars that they can re use for whatever they want!

I promise you, I have been crafting! But it's all Christmas presents, so I can't show you any of it :P

Got lots to show you today!

I made a lovely shabby chic pillowcase, I even experimented with 

decorative zig-zagging to applique the letters onto the case.

And I made a few of these knitted phone cases :)

I came up with the pattern myself, I love how it looks woven.

Ooh, and I made a Facebook page in addition to this blog and my Etsy shop. I won't be abandoning you though!

Is anyone else feeling Christmassy all of a sudden? I think now that it's gotten colder, I feel waaay more festive. Any Christmas makes on the go?

Nice new fabric...

Hello guys,

I've treated myself this week and bought some fabric.

Ok, I say fabric... I mean I bought two duvets at my favourite everything's £1 charity shop :)

The first is a simple brown and cream block reversible duvet.

I've been looking for a decent cream fabric for ages to use as a backing

for my quilt that I started forever and a day ago :)

The second is an adorable pink single quilt with 2 stripes of

a different pattern at the bottom.

You can see the stripe pattern here. Isn't it lovely?

Here is a close up. I have ideas for this fabric already.

A lovely surprise when I got home and opened it out, is that the front 

and back are different! So I could make two of whatever it is I make :)

A strange thing about this duvet cover is what had been hand stitched at the bottom. It's just a little rectangle of white cotton. I think it might have been like a bed pelmet/bed skirt?

Any ideas?

Organising your nail varnishes...

As you all know, I like my nail varnishes :) in fact, I have over 40! 

Now it's grown significantly over the last year, and my tin is getting a bit messy. I'm fed up of having to take every single one out to see what colours I have. 

So, I thought I'd organise them! 

I used some sticky labels that I slightly snipped into to make little squares. I then dotted a bit or varnish on a square, then lined them up in order and waited for them to dry. 

I then stuck the squares onto the lids of the bottles. Simple. 

I do love a bit of organising, lining up and tidying :)
